ROBERTO GOMEZ- Production and Show Management Born of a musical family in the musical city of Santiago De Cuba, the birthplace of Cuban music, Roberto joined the City's Jazz Club at age 14 and played for the seminal bands "Chepin" and "Los Tainos". At the age of 17 he studied trumpet and piano in New York and in Cuba. In 1962 he moved to Florida and created "Conjunto Cristal", also playing for "La Suprema", "Universal", "Los Caminantes", "Luis Santi','The Sugar Kings", "Orquesta America", "Nico Membiela", "La Lupe", "Iris Chacon", "Orlando Contreras", "Sensacion", "Mena y Sus Estrel­las", and finally "Los Profesionales", taking care of the business end of the group. In 1995 Roberto founded International Musical Productions; a company that bridges musicians, composers, arrangers, band leaders and clients to produce the most essential ingredient in music: Harmony. In 2004 Roberto put together the concept,musicians and dancers to create and produce "Hot Hot Havana" (Havana Caliente).
